Is it just me or are there way more young women smoking these days than say 5 years ago?I feel like almost every time I walk down the streets of downtown Toronto I see at least one 20 or 30 something female walking around with a cigarette held in the typical index and middle finger pose or blowing out a fine mist of smoke while looking all nonchalant about it.
Is there actually an increase or am I just noticing it more these days? I mean vibrant fresh faced young women, stylish in their designer labels not the normally I've been smoking for 20+ years females that you normally see types.
Was there a push on advertising of cigarettes to women? Oh wait tobacco companies don't advertise these days. Is it just the in "cool" thing to do?
Who knows.
