Happy New Year!

Happy new year to all my blog fam. I'm just back from two weeks in sunny Barbados.

You just got to love Barbados. Its the only place where someone will give you directions like these.

"Ammm so after ya pass the roundabout ya will go up the road and pass about three churches on the left hand side a de road. Once ya pass them churches look out fa a blue Suzuki swift and turn at the gap after that."

Needless to say we got lost.

In India, Directions go like this, "make a right at the Cross, walk past the bakery shop, when you get to the dust bin, go into the gulley and then by the beggar with leprosy, you'll know him, he's the one with both hands missing, make a right...if you get lost, ask the beggar."

Glad to have you back....

Hey Welcome back Jdid, looking forward to some more great posts from you.

It's a caribbean thing with those directions. In Ja it is well known that when you go to the country(rural area) and they tell you that something is just 'round de corner" it's probably 5 more miles before you reach. hehe.

Was in your couuntry this year, beautiful place, lovely beaches.
