Pet Peeve
Ok just a short rant. Yesterday I was at the mall and kept seeing all these adults with toddlers trailing many feet behind them. Now granted the mall wasn't that busy when I was there but whats the deal with the parent walking 4 feet ahead and the child doodling behind? It just look lawless and dangerous too. And then every once in a while the parent duz look back and tell the child hurry up or stop and wait for them to catch up. I'm sorry this pisses me off cause what if the child gets lost or somebody try to steal way the child? Yes ya wud hope that ain't going happen but this ain't the type of society you can take that risk and ya shouldn't have no young child traipsing behind you so like they is a big man or woman. Seriously what are they thinking? Shouldn't the child be by your side or in front you where you can keep an eye on them?

were the children supposed to be jogging or something?
I do not like to see this as well. And it is never a case where the child is hurrying to catch up....they are always wondering around the place.
I hope the parents will wake up and become more aware when they are on the streets or simply at the mall.
Seems a lot or irresponsible parents walking around in that mall!
It must be a North American thing. I see it here all the time and think what the hell, no wonder there are so many missing and kidnapped children.
Campfyah
Yeah, it's reckless parenting. But what I think I hate more...is seeing kids on those leashes, otherwise known as a Child Safety Harness.
Nahmix, those harnesses irk me too . It's as if they are some little animals. And yeah the child hound't be dawdling behind you esp in North America where kidnapping is rife
Man, I don't have children and I'm fretting for those little ones!
