Alias returns tonight. Yipee. Aside from 24, that's like the only show I've followed closely for the last three years. Time to set the vcr running.
Not much to say today. Made it to work before 10 for the first time in a while (well my hours are flexible and I do work beyond 6 most days so its not like I'm slacking) and had a nice old school hip hop CD to keep me company on the train.
Finished a book last night Rule of Four. Its sort of Like Da Vince Code (no making mumbo jumbo out of biblical stuff though) with better character development but it moves slower in the beginning and the ending could be a lot better.
Also watched Gus and Hera get eliminated on the Amazing Race. I held out hope that they would stick around a few more weeks and maybe the racist Kendra and her partner would get the boot but alas Gus and Hera just didn't play the game well. Week after week they made extremely bad choices on the Detours. So seems like all the semi-likable teams are disappearing week after week leaving the annoying guys. If you watch that show I think in general they made the teams more annoying this season, they also sunk to Fear Factor type crap last night with the drinking pig's blood stunt and they are attempting to show more skin (first episode was like an explosion of breasts in low cut tops) which really does nothing in my opinion for the show.
I'm also reading Earl Lovelace's Salt and I must say I'm enjoying it a lot more than one of his other books I read a few years back The Dragon Cant Dance.
Still fighting the writers block, thought of a few things I wanted to touch on but having trouble remembering my motivation for this blog anyway so who knows what I'll write next lol. The key I believe is to stay loose and just write whatever pops into your head. Anyway I'll be blog, I mean back tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day.

I know about writer's block. launch the blog editor, enter a topic and... blank. like nothing in the head to pour onto the screen. I always laugh when that happens.
reading recommend: "things fall apart" by chinua achebe. good book

Writers' block must be catching. Everybody seems to be suffering. Some days I can't even think of what to say until late afternoon. I agree with you though, just stay loose.
Jdid, ah hear yu. Sometimes, feelin' uninspired, ah read other Blogs and give mi comments; and afterward ah might suddenly want to write a new post. Have a good day too!
'Alias' started over here this week as well and I'm delighted. It kicks major ass!
I read Salt and can't remember one thing about it.And I read it recently too.Never watched Alias but am dying for Dead Like Me,Six feet under etc to resume
Was forced to read Things Fall Apart in third form. Man, that English teacher and us had war. In fact, I think he became mental sadly.....not on account of us (I hope).
My posts have been rambles as well. No real organization....whatever come into man head get written. Strangely, some of them type of posts generate nuff commentary. A jus life still! Dr. D.
Happy New Year all!
The writer's block I get is when I have to "edit" myself as I blog. Got lots to say but need to be carefull on how I say it...
