Barbados on the Water

The Barbados on the Water festival is on starting today here in Toronto down at the Harborfront. Hopefully we get some sunshine and I hope some of the T dot bloggers can make it down to support. Should be fun. I'll be there tomorrow evening for sure and possibly Sunday.

Oh and I heard there is a launch for the festival at noon in Dundas Square.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Yeah, there was a fancy reception yesterday and the launch today in Dundas Square. But the organisers instructed that no drumming is allowed in Dundas Square, to which I say a big *chupse*. Oh, by the way, the performances on Saturday and Sunday are the same (as far as I know), so if you get to see one, you see all two. If you manage to go, make sure to let us (and by us, I really mean me) how it was.

To Dr. D., Red Stripe? At a Barbados ting? Yuh mekking sport. jdid, they having free rum tasting so try and go and drink some good Mount Gay Extra Old, hear?
